How to Install
Step 1
Use the paper ties or a string to find the best spots to attach the muzzle to your horse’s halter. The paper ties are just for temporary use to help get the fit right!
Step 2
Two fins with triangle cutouts attach to the side rings on your halter. Three fins connect to the noseband—one in the middle, two on the sides. Three more fins connect the chin band the same way. Easy and simple!
Step 3
Start by attaching each triangle cut-out fin with a low-profile cable tie. Don’t wrap the fins around the halter—that can cause rubbing!
Step 4
When the muzzle is on right, it should be close to your horse’s nose but not touching. If it’s touching, just make the fins under the chin longer to lift it away. Easy fix!
Step 5
Once you’ve found the right holes aligned to the halter, take off the paper ties or string and fasten the muzzle with the cable ties. Then, trim the extra fin material just above the top hole you’re using. Easy peasy!
